Just wanted to let everyone know that Tideline aquatics is doing something fairly new now. If you have that fancy internet phone, you can go online, pull up one of their cupons on their website and show them at checkout and it counts as if you handed them it on a sheet of paper.
@ Matt - Oh awesome! I'll have to do that, thanks for showing that to us!
@ Lisa....OOoooo the market place is pretty cool venture. It's an open air place in downtown Charleston where people come to sell stuff and things. There's a lot of whatevers, but some pretty cool stuff too. My mom 'needs' me to find her some new coffee cup earings there...lol
Of course we will be going to Tideline. Although we did miss their customer appreciation day this year. I missed it too had to work. Maybe Eric(Dykemyster) will chime in about a visit to his and Bobbies place
"There once was an owl, who lived in an oak the more he saw, the less he spoke, the less he spoke, the more he heard why cant we be like that wise old bird"
Water changes are done, 11 tanks of 7 different species of fry are fed, somewhere around 4000 plus. That's a lot of bbs everyday. All the other inhabitants of N S F H are just waiting to be parents either again or for the first time.
I'll be feeding myself soon and then load the car and start picking up the carpoolers and heading to Charleston.
To all that are missing this trip, I am sure there will be stories and pictures by the end of tomorrow.
Have a great day, don't forget to put your heaters in the ponds, Three nights of below 50 degrees coming up.
Another great trip to the low country. What a crew Mighty Terp, TC, BBQ and I make.
Thank you Mr Picklefish for a great day and thanks to Mrs. Pickle for keeping us fed.
In all my years being in the hobby, yesterday I learned something I have always wanted to do. Strip fry from mouth brooders. It is so much easier than a c-section on a live bearer.
BBQ says he is going to make a film and post it on youtube.
Zero, this would solve all your yellow lab fry problems.
Speaking of BBQ, when you see this guy in action, you would be amazed.
This guy is excited, 100 questions a minute. What's this, who's this, how much is this, can I this, did anyone find my wallet, when are we going here, where are we going next, did any one see my cell phone, and one more where is my wallet. Besides making me smile all day long, I learned alot of what I have forgotten, being twelve is a great time in your life. I like hanging with BBQ.(but I would not do it every day)
Thanks to Bobby and Eric for their humor, knowledge, and hospitality both at Pickle's and their fish hut.
You have already read that penycat, juan and Allison made it home OK. I only question the message on my home phone when I returned last night.
Someone is calling me at home at 11:00 AM asking me what time the meeting starts. If only I had call forwarding I could have answered as I was already at the meeting waiting for a car full of people to arrive.
I better not forget to mention Lisa1 and Husband . They were able to enjoy the whole weekend in Charleston and bring home some extra tanks, fish and what ever else they found at The PickleHut.
A quick side note. Try the onion rings and the minced BBQ sandwich with extra sauce and a dash of hot sauce at the BBQKING Drive In. Good stuff.
Next month is at the N S F H., a very shorter drive, unless you live in the Charleston area.
